Gigi’s Playhouse Phoenix

Our tour guide for the afternoon was Brad, the young man in the middle, along with Robin Lea-Amos, the executive Director and volunteer staff members.
The mission of GiGi’s Playhouse Phoenix is to increase positive understanding of Down syndrome through awareness campaigns, educational programs and by empowering individuals with Down syndrome, their families and our community to change the way the world views Down syndrome and to send a message of acceptance for all.
GiGi’s Playhouse Phoenix provides free programs that are educational and therapeutic in nature to individuals with Down syndrome from birth through adulthood, their families and the community. All ages are welcome from pre-natal to adults. The positive and uplifting environment of GiGi’s Phoenix will empower those with Down syndrome to reach their highest potential.
GiGi’s custom, research-based curriculum works towards advancing literacy, math skills, gross and fine motor skills, improving low muscle tone, building self-esteem, preparing for the workforce and more.
